Thailand’s Leading new music ensemble

Tacet(i) is one of the significant contemporary ensemble in Thailand and Southeast Asia. The ensemble has been locally/internationally producing and performing works by artists, composers and collaborators more than 100 works in the past 2 years. The diversity of the ensemble’s proficiency brings the great impact to new music and art science in Thailand. TMAO is delighted to have Tacet(i) as a resident ensemble/artist for the Thailand New Music and Arts Symposium (TNMAS) and many projects by TMAO.

The ensemble is focusing on the creation of new compositions from both local and international composers, artist, as well as new works with elements of music technology, improvisatory and theatricality. Most musicians are based in Thailand. Some of our musicians are living abroad such as Hong Kong, China, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom and the United States.
